D.Pharm/B.Pharm (Diploma/Bachelor in Pharmacy)
We offer both D.Pharm/B.Pharm courses. East West College of Pharmacy (EWCOP) came into existence in the year 2005. Eligibility: PUC/ 12th Std / 10+2/ In Science.
Duration: 2 Years
Accreditation: Affiliated to Board of Examining Authority Drug Control, Karnataka.
B. Pharm. (Bachelor in Pharmacy)
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed the two year P.U.C examination of Karnataka P.U.C or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board of University with minimum 50% marks in any combination comprising P.C.M or P.C.B (minimum eligibility should be based on the aggregate of P.C.M or P.C.B whichever is higher will be considered for the purpose of admission).
Note: In respect of candidates who have taken P.C.M.B. Combination the aggregate of P.C.M or P.C.B whichever is higher will be considered for the purpose of admission.
Or
In case of students belonging to SC/ST, group-A, the minimum requirement in percentage of marks for the admission to B.Pharm course will be 40% in PCMB/PCB/PCM.
For direct admission to II B. Pharm final D. Pharm examination conducted by an authority approved by the Pharmacy Council of India with a minimum of 60% of aggregate marks in all subjects.
Note: In case of candidates who have passed one year D.Pharm after P.U.C, the marks obtained in Human Anatomy, Physiology & Health Education prescribed by ER 1981 of Pharmacy Council of India will not be considered for the aggregate for the purpose of admission. Duration: The course of study for B.Pharm will extend over a period of four academic years. The curricula and syllabi for the course will be prescribed from time to time by RGUHS.
